Winrock International, Brazil Meet: ARTI's insight into cookstove programme sought |

An International Meet on Indoor Air Pollution, Fuel-Efficient Stoves and Sustainable Development has been organized in Brasilia (Brazil) on 16th and 17th October by Winrock International Brazil, with event support from international agencies such as USAID, Brazil; Shell Foundation, UK; CRESESB; CEPEL and government ministries of Brazil. ARTI has been invited to provide its insight into the dissemination of improved cookstoves in India. Mr. R.D. Hanbar Deshmukh from ARTI would be presenting a case study on the topic, highlighting the issues in terms of technologies, methodologies, financing and supporting policies. Mr. Deshmukh has also been invited to provide his expertise at the Stakeholders Meeting and field visits, to be held post the meet from 18th to 22nd October.
